What is a cataract?

A cataract occurs when your natural lens becomes cloudy. This is due to an accumulation of proteins in the lens leading to vision that is blurry, hazy or less colorful. Cataracts progress slowly overtime leading to fuzzier vision.

Symptoms of Cataract

  • blurry vision
  • trouble seeing at night (especially with oncoming traffic)
  • glare and halos around lights
  • need for more light to see things
  • colors are less vibrant and appear more faded

Regular eye exams, especially for those over age 40 allows us to monitor and detect the presence of a cataract.

Our doctors keep up to date with the latest technological advances to provide you with the highest level of care! Schedule an appointment today with one of our providers to determine which type of cataract surgery is best for you.
